David made our night at Taboo in Cancun absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we sat down, his energy, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness stood out. Every cocktail he made was perfectly crafted—balanced, creative, and honestly some of the best drinks we had all trip. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, kept the vibe fun, and made us feel like VIPs the entire time. You can tell he truly takes pride in his work and loves what he does. If you’re at Taboo, do yourself a favor and ask for David—you won’t be disappointed. Five stars all the way! 🍸✨

Where do I begin!? The Taboo dining/entertainment experience— no one else is doing it like Taboo Cancun. The service — we made reservations via Open Table and were greeted by a friendly and warm hostess. The servers work as a team and several of them checked on us throughout the evening. We didn’t wait long for our drinks nor our food. The space — we were there for dinner so the lighting is dim and sexy and there are candles at every table. It creates a sense of intimacy and mystery. The DJ is playing music, a wide variety of—Michael Jackson to David Guetta. There are “hype” girls and guys who go around clapping, dancing and adding fun to the party. The servers join all the creative singing and clapping and the contagious energy is sure to creep inside of you. You end up joining the fun, the dancing, singing, the moving and clapping! There was a saxophonist and violinist who were jammin’ and adding beautiful music to the party! The food was an experience in it of itself. We ordered the tuna tartar made with avocados, blood orange dressing and it was a limey perfection in flavor and texture. The minced beef skewer was perfectly seasoned and paired beautifully with a light, crisp salad. The table set is a feta mouse spread with olive oil pita chips and it was light and airy cheesey heaven. The lychee martini was the perfect evening drink. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made it special by bringing out a yummy flaky dessert with a sparkler to commemorate the evening —the intentional touch to level up our experience! You MUST try Taboo Cancun — I am looking forward to trying out other Rosa Negra Group owned restaurants as they all seem to be an experience worth every penny.

We went on a Sunday night and we had an amazing time. Right when we arrived we were greeted by friendly hostesses and seated right away. The food was delicious, the service Angel and team provided was excellent and the vibe was perfect. They had a DJ who played upbeat music without being too loud. He had us dancing in our seats the entire night. They have so many surprises going on throughout the night such as sparkler birthday and bottle deliveries, a violinist and saxophone player, table side cooking and so much more. This is a great spot for a group celebration. We haven’t had this much fun at a restaurant in a long time and will definitely be back when we are in Cancun again!
