Some restaurants serve dinner; Funky Geisha serves a night out. Lagoon-side Asian fusion under rattan lamps: sushi and sashimi, robata-grilled meats and seafood, curries and wok noodles.
Wooden tables and striped floor cushions sit among tropical plants, with a Buddha mural inside and sunset views over the water outside. Wednesday to Sunday, Taiko drummers perform through the restaurant, joined by fan dancers Thursday to Sunday. Come hungry, stay late.

Diego and his staff were amazing. Food was top tier. The mushroom truffle risotto and lobster tail were delicious. The setup here next to the water is amazing. Full moon tonight as well. Will return next time in Cancun.
Had a great time at funky geisha. It’s a fun vibe. Service was fantastic. The team was so friendly and very attentive. Food was good, but nothing to write home about. Probably overpriced but you’re paying for the vibes and the experience. We had a great night.
Had the most unforgettable Friday night because of the amazing staff here!! We forgot to ask the managers names but they came and greeted us and were so welcoming from the start. Our night was made by ALL the staff who were so attentive and created such an uplifting atmosphere. Specifically Gerardo, and Isidro our servers. Food, drinks were amazing, not a single complaint. Will definitely be back! We ordered the shortrib tacos, panang curry, and the spicy lobster pad Thai.

What is the dress code?
Elegant. No swimwear, athletic wear or beach attire. Think dressy resortwear: linen, flowy dresses, dressy sandals.

What payment methods are accepted?
You pay at the venue, in cash or by card. If a deposit is needed, we send a secure payment link. The accepted cards and currencies are listed under Payment Options.
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations without a deposit can be canceled at no cost before the reservation time. With a prepayment, cancel more than 10 days ahead and 10% of the group total is charged; from 10 days to 48 hours ahead, 50% of the group total is charged; within 48 hours, the prepayment is non-refundable.
