Diego and his staff were amazing. Food was top tier. The mushroom truffle risotto and lobster tail were delicious. The setup here next to the water is amazing. Full moon tonight as well. Will return next time in Cancun.

The Night
Funky Geisha’s entertainment is built around the Taiko Drum Show, the venue’s signature act: Japanese drums played with rhythm and precision while you eat, treated as an exchange of energy between the drummers and the room. The Asian fan dance follows, a performance of color and movement through the restaurant.
The menu is Asian fusion: pad thai, curries, nigiri and sushi, alongside signature cocktails with unexpected spirit pairings. All of it sits on the edge of the Nichupté Lagoon, which does half the work on its own.

Had a great time at funky geisha. It’s a fun vibe. Service was fantastic. The team was so friendly and very attentive. Food was good, but nothing to write home about. Probably overpriced but you’re paying for the vibes and the experience. We had a great night.
Had the most unforgettable Friday night because of the amazing staff here!! We forgot to ask the managers names but they came and greeted us and were so welcoming from the start. Our night was made by ALL the staff who were so attentive and created such an uplifting atmosphere. Specifically Gerardo, and Isidro our servers. Food, drinks were amazing, not a single complaint. Will definitely be back! We ordered the shortrib tacos, panang curry, and the spicy lobster pad Thai.
